Fig. 7 Study performed using Alercon. Two patient groups with clinical sensitization to grass pollens were compared. One group was prescribed treatment with nasal and paranasal sinus lavages using the RhinoDouche® system (active group, black line) and the other did not use this treatment (control group, red line). Linear regression studies demonstrate that the mean daily number of symptoms of rhinoconjunctivitis correlated significantly with the grass pollen counts in Madrid in both groups (p < 0.05) [blue line]. Alercon automatically shows how the group treated with nasal and paranasal sinus lavages presented significantly fewer symptoms than the control group (Student's t, p<0.05) in 2 of the 3 weeks of June [red line].
